Using Groupwork by Mark Doel.

Using Groupwork  (2006)
Written by an experienced groupworker and academic, Using Groupwork promotes greater knowledge and understanding of groupwork and group processes. It provides a practical guide to those considering groupwork and further inspiration for those already involved. The book uses nine case examples of groups from mainstream social work settings.  Quotations from groupworkers’ own systematic accounts of groupwork, with extracts from portfolios assessed for continuing professional development, marks this as an innovative text.
In addition to illustrative group examples and quotes from groupworkers, the book includes:
•  key learning points based on research   •  activities to develop practice   •  suggestions for further reading.
