International Federation of Social Workers

The International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) is a global organisation striving for social justice, human rights and social development through the development of social work, best practices and international cooperation between social workers and their professional organisations.
 

European Groupwork Symposium.

Each year, the European Groupwork Symposium provides a major groupwork experience - with links between plenary sessions, practice development workshops, specialist workshops, professional papers, and special interest groupings. It is a participatory event. This year, the Symposium takes place in London from August 18-20. The theme is "Groups at the Heart of Working with People."
