INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHODRAMA: INTEGRATING ACTION METHODS INTO GROUP WORK Psychodrama, an active form of group psychotherapy, utilizes guided dramatic action to examine problems or issues. Using experiential methods, sociometry, role theory and group dynamics, psychodrama facilitates insight, personal growth and integration on cognitive, affective and behavioral levels. Workshop participants will observe and experience this dynamic approach and also learn specific techniques that can be integrated into non-psychodrama groups. Sari Skolnik, LCSW, PAT, CGPNCCADV, Group Work Coordinator, LIU-CW Post, Adjunct Faculty, Institute of Psychodrama and Creative Art Therapies, Staff
