Call for Abstract Reviewers
On behalf of the XXXIV Annual International Symposium: Passion for Group Work: An International Conversation
We invite all AASWG members* who would like to participate in this important program component to contact us. (If you are an AASWG board member, your name has already been registered with the online abstract-review service.)
Criteria for Participation
• You hold an MSW degree or higher
• You have either taught or practiced social group work
• Current AASWG membership
• Willing to:
- Review 2-4 abstracts (350 words each)
- Review between October 1-December 31
- Complete reviews within 2 weeks of assignment
- Able to complete online reviews
If you meet all of the above criteria and would like to enter the reviewer system, please email Dana Leeman, co-chair of the Symposium Committee. Briefly identify your review experience, if any and any facility in a language other than English. You may also identify a particular area of group work expertise, but there is no guarantee that you will review abstracts in that area.
