In 1995, the Association partnered with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) to publish texts that would serve to strengthen social group work education in the classroom and in field instruction. To this end, three texts were published:·         Teaching a Methods Course in Social Work with Groups, co-authored by Roselle Kurland and Robert Salmon, published in 1998·         Group Work Education in the Field, co-authored by Julianne Wayne and Carol Cohen, published in 2001.
