October 2000 is drawing near, and the excitement is building for the
planning committee of the 22nd AASWG Symposium. By now you will be looking at
our preliminary programme, and
are probably wondering, how you will ever manage to hear everyone who you want
to hear!
That is part of the feeling that I experienced watching the first of our preliminary
programmes roll off the press.With over 145 juried papers, 7 institutes,7
outstitutes, 5 keynote and plenary speakers, and 23 invitationals, it will be
difficult to choose. The diversity is not just in topics, but continues with
the many countries who will be participating.
We want to give you a chance to plan your visit, and to learn something about
